Pool goods are the awkward end of parcel work: inflatables are bulky and light, fountains and lights are fragile, ladder mats are long. Clay And Bloom packs and dispatches every order itself from Jaipur, and this page gives the real handling, transit and cost figures.
Cut-off and handling
Orders confirmed before 3:00 PM IST on a working day start handling the same day. Handling is 3 business days, Monday to Saturday. In that window inflatables are checked for a factory seam leak by inflating and listening, valves and repair patches are counted in, and solar units are put in daylight long enough to confirm the cell wakes the LED.
How pool goods are packed
Inflatables ship deflated and folded as the maker packed them, with the valve caps taped so they cannot be lost. Solar lights and fountains travel boxed with fill around the panel — a cracked panel is the commonest transit failure and it is almost always a packing shortcut. Ladder mats and long items are rolled rather than creased, because a hard fold line stays in vinyl for the life of the mat.
Delivery times
- Metro and large-city PIN codes: 5–8 business days after dispatch.
- Rest of India: 7–12 business days after dispatch.
- Transit overall: 5–12 business days depending on distance and bulk.
- Order to doorstep: 6–15 business days including handling.
Consignments move through Delhivery Heavy / VRL. Bulky items go on a freight service rather than a bike, which is why these windows are wider than a small-parcel shop’s. Hill and island PIN codes can add a day or two.
Summer is the slow season
Pool demand and courier congestion peak in the same weeks. We do not shorten these published windows in April and May to look faster, and we do not promise delivery before a particular weekend. If a purchase is for a fixed date, order with a clear week in hand.
What it costs
Free on orders of ₹2,999 and above. Below that a flat ₹99 on the whole order — one figure regardless of bulk, on the cart page before you pay and never topped up afterwards. Volumetric surcharges on inflatables are common elsewhere; we do not add them.
Cash on Delivery and UPI
Pay by UPI in advance or take Cash on Delivery. COD covers most serviceable PIN codes; some remote routes and unusually high-value orders are prepaid-only, and checkout tells you which applies before you confirm.
Tracking
Tracking goes out by email and SMS at dispatch. If nothing moves for more than 48 hours, email shop@clayandbloom.shop with your order number and we will chase the carrier ourselves.
Inflate it before you need it
Record a short unboxing video, then inflate the item on the day it arrives rather than the morning of the party. A seam leak, a missing valve, a cracked solar panel or a dead LED is settled on that clip within 48 hours of delivery, at our cost, under the Refund and Returns Policy.
Where we ship
India only. Clay And Bloom is an online-only shop working out of Jaipur, Rajasthan, with no showroom and no collection in person.
